The tranquility and harmony of Goa is best enjoyed in the off-season, when you can roam freely past its peaceful beaches and through the tall palms of its famous Undergrowth. India's smallest state, Goa is known for its laid back seaside vibe and safe haven for hippies, who have come here since the 1960s. Though most visitors make at least one trip to explore the coastal village of Old Goa and visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, there are countless hidden treasures worth discovering around every corner in this quirky region.
