COCHIN: Arrival: Cochin International Airport. Our representative will meet you there. Transfer to Cochin. Check-in to the hotel. Go sightseeing around the city. Cochin (or Kochi) is an explorer’s city. With colors and sounds bustling through the hustle of the urban center. The element of Portuguese, Dutch, and British cultures are reflected in the streets of this port city. Especially, in Fort Kochi where all the vibrance of the city is at its max. Traders and travelers flock to the city at all times. And rightly so because it has a fusion of marvels to explore, such as Kerala art centers, museums, a synagogue, Jew shopping streets, beaches, and much more. Go for a stroll through the old Portuguese and Dutch colonies in Fort Kochi and Mattancherry. Taste mouthwatering varieties of foods including Indo-continental dishes. Visit the beautiful beaches. Shop to your heart's content in the shopping streets. Overnight stay at the hotel in Cochin.
COCHIN - ALLEPPEY (53 km / approx. 1 hr 15 mins): Have breakfast, and check out of the hotel. Proceed to Alleppey. Alappuzha (or Alleppey) is famous for its waterways. Just the thought of it brings the visuals of huge houseboats cruising through the backwaters. The Alappuzha Lighthouse, Mullakkal Temple, and Punnamada lake snake boat race add to its traditional vibe. With its backwaters, beaches, paddy fields, canals, and lagoons, the sight of the place justifies its popular title, Venice of the East. Check-in to the houseboat. On the coconut-fringed backwater cruise, you can see the mesmerizing beauty of man-made islands and paddy fields. The rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight stay in the houseboat.
ALLEPPEY – MUNNAR (162.5 km / approx. 4 hrs 45 mins): Have breakfast, and check out of the houseboat. Proceed to Munnar. Check-in to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
MUNNAR SIGHTSEEING: Have breakfast at the hotel. Go sightseeing in Munnar. Visit the topmost point in Munnar, and see the panoramic view of the Western Ghats. Visit the Eravikulam National Park -which provides a safe home for the Nilgiri Tahr and several rare species of birds and animals; Blossom Hydel Park -this exotic place has freshly blooming flowers. Then, go to Echo Point -scream your heart out and feel the joy of its echo. Also, enjoy the mesmerizing view of the clouds floating by and the beauty of the valley beneath; Anamudi Peak -the highest peak in the Western Ghats. Later, visit the Tata Tea Museum -the perfect place to add much value to your knowledge about tea. Overnight stay at the hotel.
MUNNAR – COCHIN (126.8 km / approx. 3 hrs 50 mins): Have breakfast, and check out of the hotel. Proceed to Cochin airport to board the flight back home. Have a pleasant journey ahead!
