Kochi - Munnar (120 km/approx. 4.5 hrs): Arrival: Cochin International Airport. Our representative will meet you. Proceed to Munnar. Visit the Abhayaranyam, a place where rehabilitating elephants are taken care of. Then, go to Munar, with beautiful vistas, cardamom, spice plantations, and a variety of flora and fauna. Overnight stay at the hotel in Munnar.
Sightseeing in Munnar: Have breakfast at the hotel. Go sightseeing in Munnar. Visit tea plantations (drive-by). Then, proceed to Tea Museum (closed on Monday), and get insights into the history of tea plantations in this region. Later, visit Mattupetty Dam, Eco Point, and Flower Garden. Also visit Eravikulam National Park, where the Nilgiri Tahr resides. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Munnar - Thekkady (120 km/approx. 4 hrs): Have breakfast, and check out of the hotel. Proceed to Thekkady (Periyar). Check-in to the hotel. Go Sightseeing in Periyar. Then, visit the Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve. It has a scenic lake at the heart of the sanctuary, where herds of wild can be seen. Enjoy a boat ride on the lake and be delighted with the sight of various other animal species. Later, take a spice plantation tour, you can relish the aroma and ambiance of the spice and tea plantations. You’ll also get to learn about the various spices in the area. Overnight stay at the hotel in Thekkady.
Thekkady – Alleppey (150 km/approx. 4 hrs) Have breakfast, and check out of the hotel. Proceed to Alleppey. Check-in to the houseboat. Alleppey, known as the Venice of the East has a large network of backwater canals. Relax in the serene environment of the waterways, alongside which little houses are lined up. Overnight stay in the houseboat.
Alleppey - Kumarakom (33 km/ approx. 1 hour): Have breakfast, and check out of the hotel. Proceed to Kumarakom. The Vembanad Lake is beautifully dotted with rafts and boats floating in the lagoons and canals. Spend a delightful sunset cruise on the lake. Overnight stay at the backwater resort.
Kumarakom - Kochi (90 km/ approx. 2.5 hrs): Have breakfast, and check out of the resort. Proceed to Kochi airport to board the flight back home. Have a pleasant journey ahead!
