Mumbai is known as the city of dreams and is also known as India’s commercial capital. It is india’s most populous metropolis and it is one of the world’s most fast paced cities. Yet despite this chaos and constant hustle, one can take a moment to step back a take a stroll on the iconic marine drive while munching on some bhelpuri, a local savory. Places of historical include Mani Bhavan where the great Mahatma Gandhi lived and laid out most of his plans during India’s freedom struggle. If you are into shopping, you can visit many of flea markets and shopping districts in the city to catch a bargain on almost anything you can imagine. It is also home to one of the world’s largest residential slum, called Dharavi, made famous by the Hollywood film, ‘Slumdog Millionaire’. The city also is home to the iconic Mumbai local trains that see millions of commuters travel to and from work every day. The major airport is the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.
