Arrival - Sri Lanka (approx. 45 mins): Our representative will meet you, and transfer to Colombo. In the evening, go for a city tour of Colombo, the commercial hub of Sri Lanka. With suburbs, skyscrapers, and other buildings that reflect the urban vibe. Visit: The National Museum, The Dutch Museum, Parliament Complex, Arcade Independent Square, Bandaranayke Memorial International conference hall, Independence Square, and the Town Hall. Also, visit the Colombo Fort, Pettah, the Floating Market, Gangaramaya temple, Beira Lake, Colombo National Museum Old Dutch Hospital, Nelum Pokuna Mahinda Rajapakshe theatre, and Galle Face Green. Shop to your heart’s content at the ODEL, Crescat Boulevard, Liberty Arcade, Liberty Plaza and Majestic City, The Arcade Independence Square, Dutch Hospital shopping precinct, and Exclusive gift shops such as Paradise Road, Barefoot, Cotton Collection, and Galaria providing high-quality products. Colombo – Pinnawella – Kandy (approx. 04 hours): Have breakfast and check out of the hotel. Transfer to Kandy. En route visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Sightseeing of Kandy: Have breakfast, and enjoy a city tour of Kandy which is the last kingdom of the Sinhalese. En Route see the Upper Lake Drive and the Market Square. Go to the sacred religious sites in Sri Lanka; visit the Temple of the Tooth or Dalada Maligawa. Take a stroll through the town and collect souvenirs. Visit the Royal Botanical Gardens, which have many species of trees and plants. Also, explore the spice garden and Orchid house. Go to the Gem and be mesmerized by the collection of gems in store. Kandy – Nuwara Eliya (approx. 2.5 hours) Have breakfast and head to Nuwara Eliya. En-route visit Ramboda waterfalls and a tea factory. In the afternoon visit, the old colonial outpost perched 6200 feet above sea level. The place holds the vibe of entering an English town with cottages and beautiful old buildings, and the climate tops it all. Then there is the magnificent Grand Hotel, with an old golf course and horse racing events. In the evening, go on a city tour. Visit: Victoria Park, the best-maintained, town park, with beautiful blooms around the year. It also has a number of hill-country bird species. Then, visit Gregory Lake, another popular tourist spot. Nuwara Eliya – Kalutara (approx. 05 hours): Have breakfast, and proceed to Kalutara via Kithulgala. En route go for White Water Rafting (optional) at Kitulgala. Others can enjoy the beautiful views. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kalutara.
Kalutara – Galle – Kalutara: Have breakfast, and proceed to Galle Fort, the famous Dutch Fort built by the Portuguese, fortified by the Dutch, and preserved by the British. En route visit Madu river Boat Ride with fish therapy. The place with its varied species of animals and birds offers a treat for nature lovers. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Kalutara – Departure: Have breakfast, and check out of the hotel. Proceed to the Airport to board the flight back home. Have a pleasant journey ahead!
